A bad picture (finished the card late, DH has visitors downstairs) of a very quick card for today's TLC.
{Now replaced with daylight, non-flash photo}
This is a technique I've tried several times over the years and never felt I had a lot of success with - so I was happy to try it again.
I lowered the bar of my expectations by stamping on a piece of textured card that was sitting on the desk, and that means I'm more happy with the result than previously, since I knew it wasn't going to be perfect anyway .
A2 white base.
For the image, I cut a Memory Box bird from foam and stamped it once with black on the card. Stamped on acetate and rubbed that on to create the rippled reflection. Grass sponged using a die-namics die as a stencil. Sky and water sponged in. Music notes from WhipperSnapper, sentiment from Inspired by Nature.
I did have something a little less CAS in mind, but it's still very hot here - and Monday is housework day.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Joan.

Sabrina, I am glad that I wasn't the only one who has struggled with this technique. Having said that, I think your reflection for your little birdie is just fabulous. I love it!

Love your card and the way you did your reflection! Also love your attitude! I too struggle with this. Your colors are so pretty and soft on your card. The textured reflection is a wonderful, creative touch!
Truly stunning!!! You know what I first thought? I thought you had punched out the reflection from script DP. Either way it's truly stunning!!! TFS your tutorial! Amazing card!
