Congrats to Heather! Such a wonderful gallery she has and I chose her Kiss the Cook. I kept the colors, food theme and checkerboard pattern, but I used different images, changed the layout and made mine a birthday card.
I stamped the watermelon w/ ant image and colored it with Copics. I used a large corner rounder on the top corners and also on the green layer behind it. On the lower half of the large white bg panel, I stamped the Checkerboard Bg in green and the greeting on the top section. The watermelon border was stamped on a separate strip, colored w/ Copics and matted on green. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Congrats again, Heather, and enjoy your week! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Oh, I love this with the pretty, bright colour combo and the way you've kept the theme of checks, it all brings to mind summer picnics and it's just lovely!
