Here's my card for this week's beautiful Color Challenge. This was a real challenge for me because I so rarely grab these subtle colors, but I really like the result. I hope you do too.
I started with a Baked Brown Sugard card base and added a scalloped piece of Calypso Coral and another scalloped piece of Wisteria Wonder along the bottom. All edges were sponged with Baked Brown Sugar ink. I then ran a 4" by 3-1/2" piece of Baked Brown Sugar cs through my Big Shot with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, sponged it with Baked Brown Sugar to define the embossing and adhered it to the card. I wrapped some Very Vanilla Seam Binking around the card to hide the seam and added my SWEET tags with a safety pin the seam binding's knot.
We're FINALLY able to order Stampin' Up's new World Map background stamp (YAHOO!) and that's what I stamped with Baked Brown Sugar onto Very Vanilla cs and cut out with my Big Shot and Apoethecary Accents Framelits for my main panel. It's embellished with three pearl flourishes. (Love those!) Finally, I stamped the sentiment with Calypso Coral ink onto Very Vanilla cs, punched it out with my Word Window Punch and added it to the my die cut with Dimensionals.
