When my DH first told me he was taking a business trip to Houston, my first thought was who from Split Coast lived in Houston... I remembered Liz aka LazyLizard lived in Sugarland.. So I contacted Liz to let her know I would be coming... Liz was so gracious to offer to pick me up for the day and take me where ever I wanted to go... She also informed me that her sister Lynn aka Allee's would be driving from farther away to meet me as well... How sweet was that??? They picked me up at 10am and we headed out to search for a couple of scrapbook stores. What a great day, we shopped, we had lunch, went to the Container store (very cool), and last we hit Archivers.. Even the traffic jam was kinda fun.. It took us 2 hours to go 20 miles. We took advantage of it and spent the time getting to know each other a little more... I found out they can both make a card in 10 minutes... I am so jealous... Over all, it was like meeting two great friends or sister stampers.. It was a pleasure to meet both of them.
Thank you Liz and Lynn for the fabulous time and the Texas hospitality.
btw, they showed up with a basket full of goodies... It couldn't get any better than that...

I can't think of anything more thrilling than sharing the day with another addict. I am really looking forward to seeing your creations with some of those new goodies you bought. Thanks for the goodies you shared with me. You should be seeing some of these in my future cards. I'll bet you are anxious to hit that stamproom of yours. Nothing worse than an addict being away for a week from their stamping.
I'm here to check your gallery for QFTD challenge this week. I'm going to case you!!!I'll let you know if I was able to do it in 10 minutes.
