This is an altered hymnal, which is sort of always in progress! I started my background with acrylic paints and a plastic phone card - it's a little bit messy, but that is actually how I was feeling at the time, so it fits my sentiments well. I used stamps from Impression Obsession, ODBD, and Serendipity Stamps... I used Brilliance and Versafine inks, India ink markers, and colored pencil as well, plus a stencil from Crafter's workshop. Just needed to remind myself to push through the feelings of a difficult day!

This is so lovely! I really like that it is on a hymn or music paper or book! What a wonderful idea! I may have to check my thrift store for an old hymnal book to alter! This is just so beautiful!
This is stunning! I was just telling my DH I need to find a hymnal! What gorgeous art pages!!! How wonderful to have such inspiration written on the pages!

Dini, WOW, this altered hymnal is so FABULOUS! LOVE how you allowed so much of the music to show through adding the colors to a small space. GREAT sentiment, too! Thx for playing with us at A Mixed Media Color Challenge!
