My project for MIX24, to use tissue or designer napkins with a decoupage medium to create your project. It also (barely) meets Sabrina's Ways To Use It- Hardware challenge, thanks to the poor lonely brad that attaches the vellum.
There really is a napkin as the base of this project, with great big pink and purple tulips. I basically covered them up, oops! I could write a book about all the layers, but suffice it to say there's lots of ink, paint, iridescent medium, stamps and stencils used in the process. I embossed the gorgeous Cloud 9 image in black and the edges of the vellum in gold. I built up a lot of the texture using the paper behind the image - recycled from an old card. It's super thick and tearing it leaves such cool edges. I really love the way this turned out!
As always, thanks for looking!

I love how this turned out too! Your background is totally amazing - it makes me wish I could feel all that texture. It's a great setting for that wonderful sentiment, and the gold edging to the vellum looks fab! Fun brads, too - that's the little spirals I am guessing.

What a pretty napkin for your background!!! The colors and shimmer you added make it just gorgeous! You gave me a giggle with your description of your "lone" metal brad! Hey, Sabrina never said it had to be a lot, so I think you are golden! Beautiful card!!!

Wow! Your card has a feeling of freedom-you have the ability to just put medium, paper and what nots where ever, without the need for a "plan" or a layout. It seems you let the art take you where ever it wants to go. Fabulous!
