This is for QFTD172 and F4A177. Our F4A challenge this week was to create a Christmas in July card using summer colors. I chose to play with pink and spring moss green. Our QFTD challenge was to pick one of our past queens to case and I chose Bridget aka bfinlay. There are so many wonderful creations in Bridget's gallery that I had a hard time choosing. I loved her "A Friend's House" card found here: FS333 A Friend's House by bfinlay at Splitcoaststampers Bridget's card is so precious with her tiny house and tree scene all done in different designer papers and bright colors. It is one of my all time favorite die cut scenes ever!!!!!! I was inspired to make my Christmas in July card using the house and tree theme and change it to a winter scene. Beautiful! I love all the layers, textures, and details. Especially the boughs on the fence and house. So dainty and sweet. Love the background paper. The dots look like snow falling on the scene! Into my fav's!

I remember that card of Bridget's..one of my favs, too. I really like your interpretation of it with your crimped snow and trees...and the little crimped window shades..how adorable! This is so precious and who would have thought that pink and green could work for a Christmas card..it does!
