As soon as I saw this color combination, I knew I'd some sponging. I really LOVE the look of *dirty* stamped images with Crumb Cake ink.
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and inked the edges with my Crumb Cake ink pad. Next I ran a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cs through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and ran my Crumb Cake ink pad across the top to *dirty* up the edges and raised dots.
I had the Very Vanilla Apothecary Accents die cut image already on my desk and realized that it'd work well with my pennants, so I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink and adhered it to the card. I stamped four pennants (two with Cherry Cobbler and two with Gumball Green ink) onto Crumb Cake cs, punched them out with my Petite Pennants Builder Punch, sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink and adhered them to the card...and curled up the tips of the pennants for a little added interest. I grabbed a long piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon and ruffled it by tugging on a center piece of thread. I knotted each end to keep the ruffle and adhered it to the pennants with a few Mini Glue Dots.
Finally, I stamped those snowflake/candy-looking-thingies (highly technical words) with Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler inks onto Crumb Cake cs, punched them out with the little circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink and distressed them a bit so they'd pop up on the card too.
That's a lot of description but it was a very easy card to make. TFL - Regina
