Hi everybody...it's Tuesday again! I just thought I would share the card I made for the challenge this week at Flourishes...using acetate on a card. You can find out all of the details here. As an extra bonus, the first new stamp set of the month is being revealed and it is a stunner! For my card I made a little acetate window and heat embossed the sentiment on it and attached it to my die cut panel. I fussy cut my stamped dahlia image after coloring it in with Copics and what fun it was to color! The die set is my newest addition to my die family...it is from Marianne Design and it is my new favorite die! I edged it in my old faithful gold leafing pen to give it a little extra shine. I have more photos on my blog. I hope you will come play along with us this week! Thank so much for looking!

I'm just gona ditto Pat's comments *laughing* No, that's not fair. Katie, I saw this card earlier in the week and loved it! It's a beautiful, beautiful design. I have been wanting to give my acrylic a try so thank you for the good tip regarding the embossing. The new Marianne Die set - double G gorgeous! Perfect backdrop for your dahlia's. And the gold leaf pen? It isn't nice to cause us to covet *laughing* Give us some tips next time on how you edge so cleanly with the pen. Into my favorites, Katie.
