I so respect all your opinions... is the saying from this set appropriate for a sympathy card??? I just learned that an aquaintance of mine just lost his 19ish son in a tragic accident... We weren't close but this hurts my heart sooo!!! :( He just graduated last year... I wanted the watercoloring to reflect a storm with the sun shining... the quote in the set says: Memory is a child walking along a seashore. You never can tell what small pebble it will pick up and store away among it's treasured things. ~ Peirce Harris... Seriously... if you think this isn't a good saying I can change it...

Yes, I think that the sentiment is a beautiful one for a sympathy card. Acknowledging the preciousness of memories at this time is very appropriate, in my opinion.
Gorgeous watercoloring! I think you totally captured the look that you were going for here.

Your coloring is stunning. I'm going against the grain with the sentiment. I think I would be puzzled if I received this sentiment on a sympathy card, especially with the death of a child. I dunno, maybe it's just me. But I think the card itself is absolutely perfect.

Any accidental death of a child (even at 19) is hard to bear and accept. Your card will evoke some beautiful memories,
and help them through this difficult time!! It's beautiful and so are you!!
Beautiful card
Great saying
The empty chair represent's the emptiness in there lives
The shore line represent's eternity
The card went into my favorie folder
