Since I am from Colorado but live in California I decided to do flowers from both states. I downloaded a copy of the flowers from the site Linda shared with us. Thanks Linda for the help in making my card today.....details...
Tried a different thing today, I downsized the flower photos and printed them out onto Ink Jet Canvas. Forgot I had bought this stuff. Story of my life I tell you.
Made a mask then did some gelli printing on the panel for the bg. After that I took a black pen and did some tracing around the flowers and photos.
Took vintage photo and sponged the edges to distress it. Put my panel on a craft card then added diamond glaze to the flower parts.
Had to wait for it to dry so went outside in the 106 and climbing temperature and took a dip in the 88 degree pool.
Came back in and posted it. Kinda of like it, if I say so myself. Well, off to go make a brownie sheet cake. Have a great day all! Stay cool and safe! TFL :0)

OK....I can't print what I said when I saw your card Cathy. This is soooooooooooooo creative. I'm thinking you created a new technique. Have to try printing on canvas. Thanks so much for playing and sharing this brilliant card. Stay cool and Happy 4th.

Awesome-ness!!!! You really outdid yourself on this one Cathy! I love the texture of the paper it's printed on and the bg is fantastic..and those flowers, INCREDIBLE!! Love the way you did the labels, too!

Holy cow, this is awesome! I love your gelli print on the canvas - it looks totally unique! Beautiful flower images as well, and I love the way you labeled them.

Kind of like it!!!! You should love it, Cathy. The canvas and the gelli print have notched those flowers up into something you could hang on your wall. Come to think of it, I should have remembered about the columbine for Colorado, because I came across that only last month!
I have some inkjet fabric, much finer grain but I must pull it out and have a look at it with fresh eyes.
Stay cool if you can.
