This week the Teaparty is to celebrate Mary Jane in Arkansas who recently suffered a stroke and is in rehabilitation. I love the elegant teapot that Fran chose to inspire us, and also used the Flourishes challenge to make a round card as further inspiration...check it out on the Flourishes blog: http://flourishes.org/blog/
I have never made a twisted easel card but Beate's tutorial is easy to follow. Stamped the image from Flourishes Zinnias in Espresso Truffle, colored with Copics and cut with a circle nestie. Made an eyelet frame from Cherry Cobbler, ran some gingham ribbon through the holes and popped it on dimensionals. Cut another eyelet circle from BG sugar rush and decorated with MS flowers and the sentiment. I punched the MS butterfly from black, then traced and cut the yellow BG. PT - 14
Thanks Fran and Judy for your inspiration. Sorry for the photo, but I can never seem to find the right angle with easel cards. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Marie, your card is gorgeous! From your beautiful coloring (that is one of my favorite images) to your lovely butterfly and ribbon details...you really outdid yourself on this one! I am so glad you could play along this week at Flourishes for the Timeless Tuesday challenge and so very good to see your beautiful work here tonight, my friend!

What a special card to send somebody who makes cards herself, she'll really appreciate all the details in this. I really like the way you've framed that lovely vase of flowers with the eyelet circle, and the ribbon threaded through it looks just wonderful.
