Stacy aka Twinshappy here on SCS asked me to be a Guest Designer for the SCS Christmas Fan Club Challenge for July - yay!! Thank you Stacy for having me on board. Come along and join us - and beat that last minute rush of trying to get all your Christmas cards done. You can see more details about the challenge here if you are a Fan Club Member: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...l#post20225489
I made 2 cards for the challenge - one clean and simple and the other more layered. Please see my Gallery for my other Christmas Fan Club card.
The dry embossing is a Sizzix Textured Impressions embossing folder which was layered onto gold glitter cardstock then onto burgundy cardstock. Both layers were trimmed to 1/16" using my Perfect Layers Tools.
I used my Spellbinders Poinsettia dies - the 2 smallest of the diet set - and punched the berries using my Carl CP-1 3/6" circle punch out of gold glitter cardstock - and popped up the petals with dimensionals.
Finished size is 5-3/4" x 4-1/2" imperial or 146mm x 115mm if you are metric.

Lovely card, Joeclyn! Love all the white space with the embossing and the red just pops!
