I followed some of her measurements and some of the measurements in the original one she linked to from her website. Then just winged it.
I really like how it turned out and it looks amazing on my front door and brightens up the hallway (I live in a condominium).
The largest outer layer was made with Poppy Parade (retired) and I cut each piece for this layer by cutting an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of cardstock in fourths. I used my bone folder to curl opposite corners inward to make rolling easier.
The middle layer was made with Calypso Coral. Each piece is 4 x 5 inces.
The inner layer was made with Groovy Guava (Retired) which is almost an identical match for the new Crisp Cantaloupe. Each piece was 4 x 4. The small center pieces were made with 3 x 3 pieces.
After rolling each piece into the desired shape, I used one glue dot to secure the outer tip of paper and then squished the base with my bone folder and hot glued it into place.
It's fairly large. I used a large dinner plate as my base to trace around, I would guess the base is about 10 inches across. The wreath is sitting in a chair in the photo to give you a reference to the size.

wow, Meg...I love this! It's beautiful and I bet it looks great on the door to your place! My Mom has a lovely little apartment in an assisted living center and some of the folks there decorate their doors with wreaths, etc. but I bet something like this would be very pretty and very different from the usual. Maybe I will get crazy and try something similar. Someday. When I have time...and pry myself off the computer! ;-) Yea, right!
