Congratulations to our newly crowned Queen - Faith (yabbadodo). Wear your crown proudly, Faith. Here is the lovely card that inspired me CC182 Monochromatic Taken with Teal
I used Stampin Up's "Pleasant Poppies" backgrounder stamp. Stamped with memento black ink onto water colour paper. Coloured with Tombow and Stampin Up markers. Dotted centers with white gel pen. I Spritzed the image panel with Perfect Pearls Mist "Interference red"
Matted with black and rose red cardstock. Sewed edges. Stamped birthday sentiment on vellum with memento black and clear embossed. Tore vellum. Attached to Image panel. Punched out the butterflies and glued on. Added the silver half pearls.
This works for the Ways to use it challenge - versatile vellum and the Free 4 all challenge - F4A172 - field of flowers.
F4A175 - Think big - big embellishment or big stamp --- My poppy stamp is a big "backgrounder" stamp - hope that works = as the big stamp..
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Beautiful card and how many challenges this fits! Love your colors and wavy stitching! The sneak peak and the inside looks like it may be as exquisite as the outside!

Just beautiful, Pat. And you always do the inside so beautifully, too - a double treat for the recipient. I love the vellum sentiment - its light feel is perfect with the poppies.
