Today, Linda gave us a challenge I love - color blocking. I combined it with a new found love (drywall tape). I sponged my colors over the drywall tape leaving the checkered color block effect. Stamped a sentiment over and mounted on black cardstock.
It cannot get any easier than that Thanks so much for looking - hope you like it

You've got something going with the drywall tape and all the creative ways you are utilizing it, Barb. Looks GREAT on this card with your message being the focal point.

Wow, another card using a man's item, how about that! And it looks really cool, Barbie! There usually is a certain amount of fear in the unknown of your dreams. I'm getting ready to go through that right now; it's mostly my DH's dream, but I know we should go for it. It's all good. : )

WOW! Love it! After seeing one of your earlier creations my husband informed me he has some drywall tape! I even have this stamp but only used it in scrapbooking! This is creativity at it's finest! Thanks for your innovative ideas. Love your card!

I think this is just fabulous - one of my favourites I've seen so far looking through the gallery. The blocked mesh is a wonderful contrast with the black, especially the tape part of the sentiment.
