While many would probably would take this opportunity to make a card that takes little time to make with the wonderful sketch that Janette blessed us with, I decided to try something I had never done before....color an embossed background. This is NOT DESIGNER PAPER but rather I colored a piece Neenah White Cardstock embossed with the Cuttlebug Poppy designed by Anna Griffin. I used copics 100 (black) G82, YG17, R81, R83, and R85.
I am trying to get ahead with making cards and made this birthday card for my Mom who loves flowers.

Oh my, I immediately recognized the flowers and realized you had colored this background - and you have done it beautifully! What a special card for your mother - I love the lacy-edged oval you used for the sentiment as well.
