This set from SU is a delight to work with and one of my favorites. My intention was to watercolor but that didn't work out too well after a few tries. I colored with copics and added two small strands of twine to Joseph's head covering. The background was done by inking up the craft mat with distress inks, spritz with water and drag the paper through it. Then I loaded it into the printer and used some digital grunge brushes at a low opacity to stamp randomly for a little texture.
Thanks for looking.

What beautiful things you have done with this pretty stamp. I love the computer thing you did and that addition of the band on the head. All so expertly crafted.

I don't know how you did the computer extras on this but the result is wonderful! I love the twine framing held in place by the small x's and the twine on Joseph is perfect! GREAT card!

BEAUTIFUL Christmas card, Nancy. Lovely and beautifully colored Holy Family. The bg has a "natural" feeling with your twine and cross stitches. Beautifully done.

What beautiful work on this wonderful Christmas card! I love the rustic touch of the twine frame and headband. The cross-stitching on the twine is genius! Awesome design, Nancy!
