...and it's working for me! hehe I thought I might need a little help this week after Nancy Bear contacted me about getting her pool ready for 42,000 Teapotters! My first thought was "she must have one very big pool"!
So I quickly trained Curt so he could give me a hand. You see her neighbor has a rather large tree that keeps dropping leaves into her pool. Not good. BUT not to worry, Curt and Mutnik are on the job.....my card...
Being this is Curt's first real job, he wanted me to take his picture to save for his scrap book. So my card today is a photo of Curt in his B & C tank top.
Wasn't sure I was going to make the party today. We kept having power surges that kept knocking my computer off. So I turned the power strip off and went to the grocery store. Since today is also billing day, having my computer not running wasn't a good thing.
Returned from the store, put groceries away, fired up the computer, printed out my billing and had a little extra time to take Curt's photo.....so glad I didn't have to draw a card this time. hehe Just kidding. I love drawing my scenes. Hope you all like them.
Now I have a 150 statements waiting to be folded, stuffed into an envelope and stamped ready for the mail. Life, isn't it fun! hehe
Well, I shall be back to comment. The gallery sure is full of fun looking cards! ......TFL :0)

Cathy, You Curt sure can put a smile on my face. I wish I had an ounce of your talant. And I'm the lucky one to have Curt as my neighbor this time too. I just hope my fish don't jump into his pool though. But I have a feeling Nancy will use her flirty powers and Curt with all his charm will handle the fish.
PS. Another card snuck in between while I was typing this, but were still close neighbors...

I thought Curt would be in his swim trunks, Maybe Hawaiian style! That would be cute, but I see he's got his shades on and a sun visor so that's good he's using precaution against the sun's rays! He's definitely ready to work~

Expected Curt to be in a pool or hot tub with a drink in his hand and keeping cool. This is cute, hope his new job works out for him!. Great job of drawing.

Before I comment on this card I would like to congratulate Curt on getting his first job, well done mate. I burst out laughing as this amazing card was slowly opening in the gallery and by the time I had finished reading the story I had tears of laughter. Cathy you and Curt make my day!!!

I sure hope Curt takes direction well on his new job so he can keep it for a while. I can see he is all ready to clean the pool looking eager. About 18 years ago we lived in California for 2 years. Although neither of us swim we bought a house with a swimming pool. The pool was in disgusting shape it stank and the equipment didn't work it had green slime floating on it so we drained it, had it repainted, repaired all the pool equipment, and did new hardscape all around. In other words spent a fortune because all the back windows looked out on it and we wanted it to look spectacular. Guess what the previous owner did for a living.........he was the coach of the national swim team!

I'm going to have to see if Curt is helping to clean our pool! I hope I don't catch him in the jacuzzi! Cathy, I love how you bring Curt to the Tea Parties weekly, or is it the other way around! He's looking spiffy in his business tank! I am continually awed by your creativity!

A, I'm glad your computer worked for your billing, that would not have been fun! Twice our neighbour has come in to me when she's had problems on payroll day!!
B - this is certainly the right challenge for you, and if we have any problems it's good to know we have a pool expert and a trainee right on the spot to fix them. I hope Curt's doing a good job scooping all those leaves out.
This has reminded me of watching the swallows skimming over the pools in Greece - which always surprises me, because I can't help wondering if the flies taste of chlorine!!
