Peggy chose a very pretty combo today. I decided to make the gray portion the largest and add hints of the yellow and greenish blue (I used the closest colors on hand). The narrow embossed strip is my dessert option. I added a small bird (thanks Kathleen Lammie) in silver on the lower right and sprinkled in a few of Sallie's current favorite-sequins!

What a terrific card Polly!! I love the way you let your gray be the dominant color. That embossing panel looks awesome!! I like the colored little birds. Great layout too!!

Your gray bg is beautiful and provides the perfect backdrop for your sweet birds on the spring branch, Polly. The embossing silver strip and lovely bird from Kathleen...and the sequins (: ) ) are all pretty accents on this lovely card.

Love your embossed strip. It look terrific against that DP. And the focal image is adorable. Gee, sequins! My first time noticing these being used and what a great embellishment. Wonderful card!

What a sweet little image. I knew immediately it was a day for daisies as they have such a distinctive style. If only they were in rubber. I am not techy enough to do the digi and what few I have must be done by my sweet friend Cheryl. I love what you have done with this and that pair of golden birds.
