Sparkle Creations runs a Christmas Card challenge on their blog. This week they posted a photo of the most beautifully decorated exterior of a house as inspiration. I chose the front gate with a wreath hanging on it as my specific inspiration. Here is the photo:
I embossed white cardstock with stripes to mimic the white pickets of the gate and made a wreath using a circle made from Nesties and many pine branches punched from a variety of scraps of green dp. The wreath in the photo is covered in red and white baubles so I used pearls to represent them - which is perfect because sequins or pearls are this week's challenge for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, so I'm entering it in that challenge too.
I debated putting a sentiment on the card front but decided it would spoil the effect and the simplicity.
The card is also for my June quota in the SCS Christmas Card Challenge.

WOW. Your wreath is amazing, and I love the way you accented it with the pearls. You've created a fantastic CAS card! Thanks for sharing it in this week's challenge at 52{C}CT!
