My stamping friend, Loll Thompson, sent me some of the fabulous "card candy" flowers she made and I made her this card using one of them as a thank you.
I luckily found some shades of pink in my stash that matched Loll's flower perfectly. I had some beautiful Japanese paper that a friend brought back for me from Japan - it has the lighter pink in it. For the card base, I used a piece of pink cs that matches the darker pink perfectly. I added a gold Memory Box flourish to anchor the flower to the card and to pull out the gold in the Japanese paper, and added a layer of the same gold behind the decorative paper.
After cutting out the gold flourish, I was left with a great negative die cut piece of gold cs. If you want to see how I used it, check this card here:
