I have been into silhouettes lately. This was done on w/c paper. I misted it then sponged color on. I used distress inks. Then I used a CTMH stamp set and stamped in Archival Black. I sponged the edges with a darker blue. Ran a piece of Soft Sky through a houndstooth ef and inked it with distress ink. I then mounted in on Pumpkin Pie and then onto Bayou Blue. I also used a piece of PP satin ribbon. Inside it has a bd greeting. This is going out to a good friend of ours who moved to Fla a few years back.
Thanks for looking and hope you like my card.
Thanks for the challenges ladies.

Love this splashy color "celebration" - the bright orange with blue looks stunning against a lighter blue BG - this is one of my favorite combos - with a green added in for good measure!! Silhouettes make such quick cards - and have impact too! Will be good for any occasion!!

Sylvia, this has to be one of the most eye-catching and lovely cards in the gallery. Your complementary colors are handled so beautifully....and that image panel......sigh!
