I used the first method Dina talked about in her video applying black ink to my image with a water brush. This is also for the F4A challenge of using a pleat..I pleated my ribbon by folding and sewing down in the middle. My bg was made using my gelli plate.

Polly, your trims on this card are EXQUISITE! I especially love that deeper lace. They really complement your fantastical image of the woman. A lovely and interesting(as in many elements to take in) card for both challenges.

Pol, your image is beautiful! That hat of hers is a dandy!!! Your trimmings of pleated plaid ribbon and the VERY pretty silver lace are perfect for such a fancy lady! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your gelli background!!! The pink with the gray and white look amazing!!! You are such an expert with that medium!!!
