My first card in months due to working on a long term project. It's great to be doing cards again. I stamped this detailed image first. I scanned the image so that I could lighten the black memento ink to a very pale gray. I colored with pencils, masked it, then airbrushed the sky. I sponged some darker areas in the corner. With my fingers crossed I ran the artwork through the printer to position the computer generated sentiment. This if for a dear friend going through a rough time. The inside reads " so in the storms of life may your heart soar like an eagle.

your card is beautiful. that's a great idea on softening up the image and i'm impressed with how you matched up your sentiment. your fingers must've been crossed very tight indeed! lol I really like your background sky. the whole look is amazing. tfs

That is beautiful Nancy! I have missed you. Have you read all the news about Terry L? He would love this card. That eagle is absolutely gorgeous! A great sentiment too.
