Here is my card for today's Tuesday Teaparty challenge and today's colour challenge (Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight - Desert option - Flowers.
Here is the link to This weeks Teaparty Story line and Challenge.
This week our destination is West Linn, OR. If you would like a destination for your card this week, how about sending it to Donna's daughters, Elise, Andrea and Laura. Donna was brought to our attention by happigirlcorgi.
Donna is a 2 time breast cancer survivor, and now has some other kind of cancer. (They are not sure where/what, and Donna is not seeking treatment#. She will go into hospice when "it is time", but for now is enjoying her friends and family while she can. Donna loves that she has 3 daughters. And that she has 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. She most recently sold clothes #until she was 74 years old#, and is very good at putting outfits together and knowing her stock to fit her ladies' body shapes/styles.
UPDATE:
Today we were advised that Donna has taken a turn for the worse, so we thought that we would continue in the spirit of this tea party to celebrate her life and send cards to her daughters at the following address. Elise will share them all with her sisters so they all will feel the Teapotter love.
I found my lovely vintage lady image on the internet - Printed it out and coloured with Stampin up, Tombow and copic markers. Sponged around the image with Vintage sepia ink. Sponged arounded the edges of the yellow flower. Attached with pretty brad. Created the base card panel with yellow and green dp's, matted with brown. Sponged and distressed all edges. Sewed panel together. Popped up image panel..
Thanks for looking, Hugs. Pat
