This card was created for the Dog Days of Summer June 2013 VSN. The challenge was to use (in some fashion) a toy of my summers past. And I used to ride my bike around all over the place, so that was the inspiration.
Most of the parts of this card were leftover bits and pieces from different classes that I've held, so it came together pretty quickly. The bicycle image was stamped and cut out. Then layered underneath are all sorts of paper buttons made with SAB paper. The flower was made by using a heat gun to melt the edges. Ironically, playing with fire was also a summer past time, albeit not really a toy!

Great buttons and love the flower!! One of the first questions that was going through my mind when I saw your card was how did she do that flower? So glad you gave details in your write up!! So unique- love it!! Is that lace on the bottom of the card? Love the shade of your ribbon, so matches the bg of the other images! Thanks for playing along!!
