The SweetStamps challenge this week is to use parchment paper on your project and I used a parchment vellum.
SweetStamps has a nice selection of products to use for this technique, see them here and Stacey has a video showing the procedure and some tools for this technique, watch it .
The image was heat embossed using the Fine Detail Embossing Powder – white. I heat embossed with my parchment lying on the craft sheet from Tim Holtz – Ranger) and avoided it changing shape, my first attempt was not using this sheet and I certainly could see the difference…I am not affiliated with Ranger, just my thoughts on the product.
I colored the image with Copic markers (BV02, Y15, E21, G82) and used the feathering technique with the metal ball stylus to create the white on the petals and a longer strokes for the leaves.
So glad I found a way to use up some mini silver brads which are from Reminisce.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.
The ribbon was tied first and taped to the back side of the panel using Crafty Power Tape from Scrapbook Adhesive. And I also used the 3D Foam Squares to pop up the panel with its borders.
Envelope partial image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.
