Today's colors are just yummy!!! I love green so I was anxious to play along. I actually made this a 6x6 size (it's not a card but a picture) because I had an idea right away and I didn't want to restrict myself to a smaller size. The bg paper is some handmade paper I got a a fabulous local paper warehouse/stamp store and I've been waiting to use it. Well it fit in perfectly for our colors. I cut out some extra flowers from that paper and used it on the green flourish on the side. I edged some of the layers in Inka gold metallic paint (cool stuff), added a few copper stickers, a butterfly and nail heads at the top. Hope you like it..thanks for taking a look!

Oh, Polly, that DP is GORGEOUS! Sounds like you have some the the neatest stores in your area. Love how you used the DP in several ways....creative you....as always. The chevron DP is a wonderful contrast to the flowing flowered vines of the DP...AND a lovely vintage image....all make a picture that is "Polly Art"!
Great flowers down the side w/the butterfly. I really like the copper stickers too. They frame it very nicely. Wonderful card in greens and yellow. The image is just sweet. Reminds me of being young and standing outside just to feel the breeze. tfs

Wow Pol! So many awesome details!!! I LOVE the background DP!!! The way the flowers and greenery are outlined in gold is so pretty! Then you add your gold edging, nailheads and those fabulous bronze stickers and it becomes tied together so perfectly! Another cool detail is the way the two beautiful butterflies are in mirror image of each other so they look like one larger butterfly!!! Brilliant! Of course, I LOVE the image!!! I can almost feel that breeze! Original, unique and wonderful!!!
