The Hurrier I go, the behinder I get!

Hi Friends,
When I saw this cute-as-can-be image from Stamps by Judith, I knew I had found my character for Nana Banana! Yep, that's me, and maybe you can tell by the look on her face why her blog hasn't been updated in a while *laughing* Nana is as slow as molasses in January, she doesn't bend as well as she use to, and nothing matches (or fits) anymore. But that's okay with Nana because she is full of silly nonsense songs, ready to play at a minutes notice, and has a bag of Sugar Babies in each pocket (for her consumption). Nana Banana is my newest character straight from the wonderfully illustrated Stamps by Judith. I love a stamp with character. I give them a name and a story. Stories like The Visit, or Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Hmm, do you think there's a resemblance? (she smiles).
I've used an older Mojo Monday Sketch with this card. Mojo Monday #280 to be exact. Designer paper from Basic Grey (Mint Julep), MME (Lost and Found), and I believe, Authentique (sorry I don't have the collection name). I colored the image with Copics, added a little sponging around the frame. My machine stitching is a disgrace! I can't sew a straight line to save myself *laughing* A little bakers twine and a button is all Nana needs to get her going.
Thanks for taking a peek. I hope you'll come visit me at Summerwalk Designs. I have a good feeling were gona be friends!
Hugs and Blessings,
Nana Banana (Nana B to my grown-up friends) *giggle*
Postscript: I completely forgot to say anything about the challenges ~ duh. For the inspiration challenge I chose to use the polka dotted material here: http://www.emmabridgewater.co.uk/pol...vt/1pod011361/ and my sketch is an older Mojo Monday Sketch #280

Susie, your description is hilarious! What a story teller you are! Oh, and this card is absolutely adorable to the nth degree! Your coloring is over the top, your stitching is not as you say it is, and these papers work beautiful together! Your button, twine and ribbon are spot on perfect~Hugs

fun image and story Susie, wonderful card... Your sewing looks fabulous from here...I have trouble with the straight lines too, but it was my corners where the bigger issue was... I've since started piecing my corners to see where I needed to be when on the machine...

Thanks for the wonderful story. I wish I were as good with words so to tell you how wonderful your card is. I admire anyone who can use more than one of those pretty papers on a card. The design is just awesome.
