WT430: feature music and/or musical instruments on your cards. I used jingle bells, an instrument that even I can play..
A quick card today.... I'm just happy we still have power right now... TS Andrea is bringing some much needed rain, but does it all have to come in a couple of days ? Our power flickers all the time as it is. 3 am this morning there was a tornado that touched down a couple of miles from the house... Calgon take me away....but still thankful for some rain...
Thanks for looking

WOW! So glad you are safe. What a dreadful year Mother Nature has brought! I laughed when I read that jingle bells was an instrument EVEN you could play. I come from a professional musical family, and can't play a thing!! I love your coloring of those bells, the silhouette, and the texture!! Keep safe!

OMG, Irene....be safe! In spite of your fear, you managed to make a wonderful musical card AND add to your Christmas stash! Beautiful. Stay dry and safe!

Be safe, Irene. I've been watching Andrea on the weather. Your holiday card is wonderful with your pretty jingle bells, sentiment and the "one-horse open sleigh".

Stay safe there! Who doesn't remember playing bells and other percussion as an introduction to music in school - I certainly do! So I think this is perfect for the challenge, and as we're experiencing unusual (by Irish standards) heat here and my craft room temperatures are too high for comfort, I'm also enjoying the feeling of a cold crisp winter day which your card conveys.

I can see why you are thinking of Christmas to get your mind off the fact that hurricane season is here. Although we don't get them as often as Florida does, I know what you are exoeruencing. Praying for your safety.

Wonderful take on the challenge Irene! I especially like your highlighted bells! You colored them so perfectly! Your striped DP is so pretty (even though we don't get to see a whole lot of it) and your embossing is awesome! BEAUTIFUL Christmas card!!! Hope your weather is better today!

I, too, am relieved to hear that you are safe. My friend in New Port Richey mentioned there were tropical storms, but didn't hear about the tornadoes. Yikes. Your description had me laughing out loud, though! Your jingle bells are a wonderful musical addition to a fab holiday card, Irene. Your Calgon take me away comment is too precious!
