What lovely, lovely colors Becky!! So soft and serene. I chose to do an emboss resist card today. Stamped my image and heat embossed using white detail powder. I then sponged my inks over the top. I noticed in my photo it's a little difficult to see the white image, but IRL it stands out really well. I matted my image on a Nesties Floral Oval in white and popped that up on top of Sahara Sand DP. My butterfly is vellum embossed with the Cuttlebug Palm folder. I added some half pearls on it's spine and popped that up too. Thanks so much for having a look

WOW, you are clever with your techniques Mary!! I love how you did the emboss resist, and what a great idea to do your butterfly in vellum!! That makes the butterfly that much more delicate like in real life. :>)

I do think it's a challenge to photograph such soft colors but I can see everything quite well here. I think your card is the perfect card for this color challenge. it looks exactly like those colors should look.

It is a bit hard to make out the white image, but I love the softness of these colors sponged on top, Mary! Your card is so feminine and pretty with the vellum butterfly and beautiful oval die-cut!
