Today's TLC challenge is to use three neutrals for a background and one color for a "pop." I used Prisma cool grey 50%, French grey 20% and black watercolor pencils. My "pop" of color is Hero Arts neon yellow.
NEED B.D. CARDS FOR MY MOM! CAN YOU HELP ME?
I made this card for my dearest Mom who has had serious health issues. She had surgery on 5/2 and was subsequently hospitalized five more times. Eleven days ago she had life-saving surgery. She is home now but her body, mind and spirit have been shaken and traumatized by all of these medical events. Mom will be home-bound (except for necessary dr. appts) for quite a while. Her birthday is on 6/9 but she won't be able to go out to celebrate, nor does she feel up to having company. I have reached out and asked the wonderful Tuesday Teapotter gals to, if they are able, send my Mom b.d. cards from their stash. If any of you, my fellow SC card-makers, who are looking at/reading this message would like to send Mom a b.d. card, please pm me. All cards (whether one or 20) will be received with gratitude and heartfelt thanks, from me and my Mom. BTW, she is unaware that I have reached out for b.d. cards to be sent to her.
THANKS for looking at my card!
Stamps: MFT
Paper: Paper Studio
Ink: Versafine, Hero Arts
Note: To make my "sun" I stamped six of the little sun stamp in a circle. I stamped the sentiment in black Versafine, let it completely dry (couple/few minutes), then from the back-side, tore off the paper to give it a torn edge. Lastly, I lightly "pressed" it onto the neon pad.
