For today's Technique Challenge (TLC432), we are to use at least 3 neutral colors & 1 pop of color. On my card, I used almost total neutrals (white, brown, gray/sand & even the sage green cattails are very neutral) & my one pop of color is the bright blue water.
After stamping the bridge, I colored it w/ Copics & though it may not make sense, I decided to put a window around it. For the frame in front of the window, I inked a brick embossing folder w/ a combination of sand & gray inks before embossing it. I stamped, colored & cut out a bunch of the cattails & placed them in front of the window. The sentiment was die cut & added on top. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

I think the brick window wall was a brilliant move! There is such a sense of depth...I feel as though I am floating toward that tunnel. Perfectly done, Julie!
