This is for mix-ability Challenge 18, Simple Shapes = Art. The challenge was to make a simple design with markers or paint and then outline the shape with a fine black or white pen. We could then use our shapes to create a background or a focal image.
I did a watercolor wash with Koi watercolor paint. Then I immediately put Saran Wrap scrunched on top of the wet wash. I let the wash dry, lifted the Saran Wrap, and searched for a pattern.
I actually did two washes on my watercolor page. This page shows the cartoon dog-elephant-anteater which emerged. I love how the wrinkles look like skin folds.
I really really try to see beautiful flowers and butterfiles and forests. In fact, I saw this cartoon dog elephant anteater. We are who we are I am really LOVING these challenges.
Thanks for looking, and blessings!
