This is inspired by Julia S's beautiful Magic Maduzia card: http://tinyurl.com/zgyt8 I decided to see how bleaching and coloring with H20's would turn out, and I really like the results. Of course, the shimmer doesn't show up on the scan. It's a nice effect because just enough of the polished stone remained after the bleaching to create some extra texture and color on the shells. I hope you can see it. This is a birthday card for my 22 year old nephew, who has the same birthday I do.

This is gorgeous. The shells look like they are really in water. Okay, I have never mounted my "Stipple Shells" set. I have to get going after seeing this. I love the copper tag. TFS this work of art Linda.

I can't believe how real and textured these shells look! The polished stone shows through just enough to shade them beautifully. You've chosen the perfect colors for your polished stone, too, and blended the colors so well. I can hardly look at this enough--it's so easy to get lost in it! Your work, as always, is so inspiring!
