For this week's ways-to-use-it challenge: doodling. As a kid on the school bus, I'd lightly hold a fountain pen and draw a line across the paper. Each bump, stop, and turn made for an interesting doodle. Okay, so I tried to do the same thing on black with these great metallic markers... only whatever "line" came to mind. Great fun!
I used Verve's fourth May vlv sketch for the format, and their Surely Goodness stamp set for the sentiment. Now I have Simon and Garfunkle's 52nd Street song going through my head. Feelin' groovy!

WOW, those metallic markers show up great on the black paper!! I like that you mounted it on the turquoise too. It's fun to hear the story about when you were a kid. :>)

I think the sentiment comes from "Wild Thing"......but "Feelin' Groovy" works just as well. Your doodling is more involved.....good for you!

What a fun retro feel this has, Brenda. I can't believe those are just metallic pens, they look dimensional to me. I like the blue row that looks like little leaves (to me!).

I looked at your card trying to figure out where you doodled, then it hit me right between the eyes! Your bg paper is your doodle art! What a neat idea~Childhood memories......
