This is a thank you card for my friend Nina. I had to put this together quickly and used things already cut out and embossed in my "not used" stash. I realize the bird is supposed to be IN the cage...but when I did that you couldn't see him!! So my bird is sitting pretty on the out side of this one. NO CAGED bird here...and he is going "neaner neaner neaner" to all those who are! :-) I had trouble with the frame going on straight, struggled, ripped the paper, covered it up with leaves and late at night finally had to say "Oh well!!" My perfectionist side really needed to go to bed! :-)

Peggy, it's lovely and Nina is going to love it. Our little parakeet use to hop all over the outside of his cage. This little bird is ready to fly your sweet card to it's destination that's all. Now, put the card in the palm of your hands, give it a little kiss and send it on it's way!

Gorgeous card and a pretty crafty bird to slip out when nobody is looking. I love his cage and the leaves (there are no such things as mistakes...only creative opportunities!).

don't you know, the harder you try, the worst it is, as least that's how it works for me! Either way, Peggy, this card is beautiful! I'm all for the uncaged bird, does it sing?!

Oooh, Peggy! How did I miss this wonder! Great minds is right ... Love your IO bird cage and leafy vine. I personally think it is so much better to have an uncaged bird. And he/she looks lovelier that way. I know the birds on my deck would whole-heartedly agree!
