This week is Tickle a Teapotter week, it's our reward fo all the weeks we send out cards to those in need of cheer.
This week we are going out to Old Mac Stamper's farm, where because of the drought last year, feed is in short supply. Though the wheat itself is for humans, the silage will be fed to the animals. This wheat field also has echinacea growing along the borders. Mrs. Mac Stamper uses it for her home remedies for colds and such.
The wheat has been stamped onto cream c/s with black and mustard inks. The acetate was first colored with alcohol inks for the sky and grass, then on the front, the echinacea was stamped. This is layered over the c/s panel.
There's a little bee brad and a butterfly, cuz we all know you have to have the pollinators to get a
successful crop.
The frame is cut with the wonky rectangles die and embossed with the chicken wire ef.

Aren't you clever for bringing wheat AND echinacea! Smart! You even brought a bee to pollinate the crops, wow. Gorgeous scene with perfect clouds and even a butterfly. Beautifully done! Won't the farm critters be pleased. Munch, munch.

This is such a stunning card Jennifer!! I love the wheat against your embossed bg. Your clouds look so real, and I love the way you can see the distant meadow. :>)

Wow Jennifer this is fantastic. I saved it to My Favs before I even wrote this little note. Your card is perfect for this challenge, but it would also make a beautiful sympathy or a serene "thinking of you" card. Some lucky treapotter is going to be very happy.

I'd love to see this IRL, I'll bet there is a lot of depth with the acetate on top of the cs which doesn't show up in the photo. Love the grass stamp as well. Well done.

Oh gosh, it's so long since I've stamped an image on acetate and coloured the back - thank you for the reminder of how good it looks. I absolutely love the silhouetted wheat, reminds me of my second holiday in France when I was a teen. And the echinacea is a neat idea, and would look beautiful in real life. The wheat fields I saw in France had poppies and cornflowers.
