While organizing my paper this last week, I came across one by BasicGrey's Vagabond collection, it had a huge floral that took up the whole page. I thought to myself, "Am I ever going to make a layout with this paper?" How long have I had it now? My next thought was, "Cover it with something else!!"
I have long been a fan of the shabby chic look of torn, cut, wrinkled, inked paper and this humungous flower would be perfect for the bottom layer. It is not often I start with the paper first, then find pictures that will work but in this case that is what I did.
One more page done, I don't have to purge unloved paper from my stash, and I was able to use those hawk pictures that I took, (and printed) just because he was there!
