I have a card here that was ordered from a friend who had a son graduating from Welding....and she wanted a farm with a tractor...so I combined two sets from Stamping up...."Harvest Blessings" and "Farm Life".
The tractor is a Case, so my hubby tells me...but the lady wanted a John Deere....so I had to look up the colours, to try to get a John Deere look, for all those who don't farm....I think I have passed it off....
I got the idea of using flower soft around the barn, from my dear friend Pat (bloomsinabox) so also used the idea for the grass under the tractor, which I had cut out and popped.
Thanks for looking....
Heres the recipe:
Stamp Sets: SU Harvest Blessings, Farm Life
Paper: Black, Dark brown, Copic express it, DSP from stash,
Ink: Copics, Memento Black for sentiment, tried a little Jim Holts white marker for the clouds, almost worked....
Accessories: Spellbinders Fancy Rectangles, Micro Tip Scissors, brown brads from "Close to my Heart" Foam Tape, Liquid Glue, Glue Gun, & Love!
Blessings to all

Fabulous card! How lucky your friend is to have such a creative person to design for her! There is only one problem though. I really like the flower soft idea and may have to buy some more colors! TFS

My Goodness, Jan, you must be the go-to person when anyone in your area needs a card!! Talk about making a card fit the occasion!! You really did an excellent job on this card for the welding graduate!!! I love the way you used the flower soft to make it look so realistic! Keep up the good work!! Hugs!

Great card! I do believe this tractor is a John Deere and not a case....either an A, B or G narrow front, row crop John Deere....my son will tell me for sure once he gets his card inspired by your design!!! He has all kinds of old 2 cylinder "Johnny Poppers", lol, he can remember every specific on multiple tractors but could never remember to take out the garbage or shovel the walk when he was a kid!! Your card reminded me life on the farm with kids!
