I used today's TLC challenge to do Crazy Stitching on my card as inspiration for my card. I hope this fits the challenge.
Awhile ago I tried to emboss a Spellbinders rectangle on a main panel but it moved and came out crooked (lesson learned). I kept it in a pile of rejects. White making some envelopes one day, I noticed the parts that were cut off of the envelope shape looked suspiciously like the angles of the crooked embossed panel. Well I put them all together, pierced where the dp edges met and did some faux stitches with a gel pen. Looks kind of like a crazy quilt, I think. After stamping the sentiment, putting the flowers and the butterfly on the panel, I glued the panel down on a cardbase. The butterfly had been stamped twice and glued together back-to-back so it could look like it was in flight. Though I haven't put the sentiment inside yet, I am planning for it to read "Hoping You Are On The Mend".
I'm happy I was finally able to turn my mistake into a card that I can use Thanks for looking! I hope my card will inspire you take another look at one of your discards and make it into a card, too.
