This card meets three challenges, F4A169 (take a chomp out of your card with a punch or die cut), WT427 (You must use a flower somewhere on your card or project), and MIX16 (create the effect of glitter under glass).
I stamped the Stampendous Jumbo Dahlia with Versamark and embossed with white ep. Each petal was outlind with Dusty Concord Distress Marker, and I added metallic purple pencil shading at the base of the petals to give some dimension. Each petal was then outlined with Gelly Roll Stardust Clear pen to add some sparkle. I appled a coat of glossy Mod Podge over the entire piece, brushing in both directions. It dragged out tiny paticles from the Stardust pen across the piece, and the brush strokes make it look almost like canvas. Wish it showed in the picture! This was adhered to a 5.75 inch square card base.
I used a SB label die to take the "chomp" out of the edge. I stamped the butterfly on the inside of the card and embossed with purple ep, then stamped a flourish from TH Visual Artistry Collection. Added glue to the spaces on the butterfly wings with a MS ballpoint glue pen and applied both white and bronze Glitter Ritz glitter. The butterfly was coated with Glossy Accents to create the glitter under glass effect.
As always, thanks for looking!
