When I saw this beautiful card in the gallery of this week's queen JD from PAUSA I knew I had to CASE it using this beautiful new ef. I had also seen Linda ink up her ef with more than one color on this card and had one of those aha moments where you smack yourself on the head and say why didn't I think of that! I used Baja Breeze down the center of the ef and Blushing Bride around the floral portions. I made a 5x7" card because the ef is so big and I didn't want to waste any! Jill's card was a gatefold, but I kind of lost track of that and had already scored my card base so I went with the layout she used, but didn't do the fancy fold. I used my gelly roll pen to add clear glitter over the swirls on my sentiment which I stamped in Smokey Grey, as well as on the raised flower centers. Our Mixed Media challenge was "glitter under glass" in which we were to use a clear medium over a glitter, so I added Crystal Effects over the glitter penned areas. I also spritzed the whole card with home made shimmer spray. I used Labels 9 to cut and emboss my sentiment and framing. I added some pearls for accent as well as a big organdy bow.
