I worked in the garden eight hours then at the shop that sells my cards for the evening, but I still had to stop and make a card because my niece's bridal shower is in the morning. I actually started with a much more complicated card, but decided to turn that into the wedding card. I stamped this same big peony on the inside of that one and decided it would make for a clean shower card.
The peony is stamped in Blushing Bride, the flourish is in stamped off Baja Breeze and the sentiment in Smokey Grey. I sponged the edges with the blue and pink. I also wanted to play along with the Mixed Media challenge so I took my Sakura Gelly Roll pen and highlighted areas on both the flower and the flourish. The challenge was not just to use glitter, but to put it "under glass" so I then layered Crystal Effects over this. I embossed my base with the Tulip frame ef, but covered over the tulips. I accented with a piece of Blushing Bride pleated ribbon and some rhinestones.

I'm so glad you used this stamp since I own it but haven't inked it up yet, lol. Now I know how pretty it can be! Love the bling on the pleated ribbon!
