This is for Mixability Challenge 16 - glitter under glass. And now you will have to take everything I say on faith: There are Rock Candy Stickles under that Rock Candy Clear Distress Crackle Paint on that pink heart. And there are Fruit Punch Stickles on the row of faces as well. After ten attempts to get this card to give off so much as a glint or glimmer in a photo, I gave up.
The stamp is one I got a while back because I liked the way it looked online, but then I never used it because its message, upon closer examination, perplexed me. Who would I send it to? I don't know any people who need to be told to follow their hearts and live their passions. The ones who are don't need me to tell them, and the ones who aren't would no doubt think I should mind my own beeswax. Possibly I could send it to a graduating niece or nephew, who wouldn't look at it anyway, but only flip it open quickly to get at the check.
Maybe I'll play around with some more glitter tomorrow. In the meantime, thanks for looking!

I love your color combination and contrasts, and all the texture and dimension! Did you sand your background panel? I think it would be a great 'everyday' kind of card. So glad you could play along with us!

I really like your card Rachel! I think you could send it to anyone but a grad card would work (esp with the $$). Great composition with your interesting panels and you always do a funky color combo which is awesome here..I like that girl's face (nice freebie!) and the embossed bg. The heart in those fab distress colors (some of my favs) looks really cool.
I think I CAN see the glitter! cool card! I smiled reading your description because sometimes I love a stamp and then realize...I have no one to send it too!!! Great color combo and the stamp really is cool!

Rachel, what beautiful colors you've used! I completely understand the issues with photographing something sparkly...find it's hit or miss...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!

I love that stamp! And the way you colored it! The strip with the faces on it is a really interesting addition! Love your work!
