My mother passed away when I was only 2 weeks old. My grandmother raised me. She was a special lady. She had already raised 11 kids of her own.

Yes, this is serene, but it is also gorgeous and elegant! I've always felt that Grandparents are a treasure, yours proves it! You are so lucky to have her!

oh ...My mom's dad died when she was 6 weeks old. I know how she wishes she could have known him. I am sure that one day you'll meet her...and so glad you had a caring and strong grandmother. (B/c don't we celebrate grandmothers too on this holiday! I know I do!!)

What a beautiful card - love the stamping/embossing of the overlayed image in the pretty die cut framing - I can't imagine raising 11 kids! and then another baby - she sure IS a special lady!

Stunning - love the shadowed effect. So sorry you lost your Mom before you even had a chance to know her. Your Grandmother sounds like an amazing woman. This cad is a wondrful tribute.
