Life piled up on me a little bit this week, and my mojo is buried somewhere underneath several layers of "not sure what hit me"...! I used some things I had laying on my desk to put this little scene together. A few weeks ago I covered a few small panels with paper scraps, and on another day I was experimenting with stencils and household caulking. The house is made from one of those experimental pieces, and a few other scraps. The door and grass are diecuts from Impression Obsession. The clouds are also caulked, with a homemade stencil I made using cloud dies (IO) and chipboard. I spread the caulk into the opening with an old credit card. I used a watercolor crayon to darken the blue of the sky around the clouds.

I enjoy your work so very much. Household caulk? I used household caulk many years ago to decorate some Easter eggs (not to eat, I blew out the innards). I'll have to experiment.

Very cool! I love using caulk and stencils, but haven't since making Christmas cards for 2011. Now I'm hoping its still wet! Thanks for the reminder!
