I could not let the Technique Challenge honoring the inspiring Joan Ervin go unnoticed...thankfully Karen gave us a fantastic color combination today to awaken some mojo. I am also playing the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge on the blog:http://flourishes.org/blog/
I chose this delightful card of Joan's to case: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;ppuser=28771. I stamped the flower from Flourishes Magnolia in Espresso on Blushing Bride, masked and stamped SU Script in Versamark and clear heat embossed. Sponged with a bit of Memento Rhubarb stalk, removed the mask and added a little more color with Copics. Cut and matted with dessert-worthy Nesties and added the Kaisercraft black pearl accents for the Flourishes challenge. Ran the Basic Gray panel through a CB Cricut EF and wrapped with Flourishes pink ribbon and Blushing Bride Pleated ribbon. Added the embossed sentiment, mounted all on a Pirouette card and done. PT - 3
Thanks Judy for giving Joan her deserved honors - and thanks Karen and Joan for the inspiration. Happy Birthday Joan! Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Oh so pretty!! I love that emboss folder and your floral oval looks so nice against it. The pleated ribbon is a nice accent also!
