My 1st card using the new SU "Mosaic Madness" stamp set from the 2013-14 Annual Catty. I used one of the 11 stamps and pressed it into my free formed Pressure Clay Vase. I then colored the vase with markers after the clay dried. Also spritzed the vase and background with Vanilla Smootch Spritz. I wish you could see the pretty shine.
The background was watercolored with Primrose Petals and Calypso Coral using my aqua painter and reinkers onto 140# watercolor paper and then spritzing more with just a fine spray of water. I did it over and over until I got the right shades.
The big challenge came with the flowers. I stamped onto the bg with white craft ink and eb with irredescent ice eb powder, but did not show up enough so......I stamped again with versamark onto watercolor paper and heat eb with White EB Powder. Fussy cut the image and pressed lightly onto my Primrose Petals ink pad and wiped the ink off the image with paper towels for an emboss resist look. Popped up with dimensionals and then I was happy.
Whew.....Birgit...your challenge took me 2 days off and on, but was way fun. Thanks for hosting this week and always inspiring. It is because of you I have always tried my hand at clay images :-)

This is a beautiful use of the challenge colors Nancy!! I also love the way you did the vase for the mixability challenge. I think that challenge is bringing out the coolest cards.

Really, really stunning! I love the look of your popped up and embossed resisted flowers. I may have to use that idea too. I can tell that you're going to become the Ultimate Master of Clay. LOL...I love what you've been doing with it, so keep 'em coming.

Great card, Nancy. Beautiful variation of shading in the background. Am loving your clay creations--Biggan's cards are a wonderful inspiration. I like your clever play on the sentiment by putting rhinestones beneath the word "gem."
